Benefits of Calcium

Calcium is not only an important element for bodybuilders, it’s important for everybody’s body. Calcium is good for stopping the contraction of muscles, which includes the function of the heart, the body’s most important muscle. It is beneficial for normal blood clotting, nerve impule transmission, and provdes support of connective tissue.

The two critical minerals in your bones are calcium and phosphorus, which gives strength and firmness to the skeleton structure in your body. Additionally, many chemical reactions that occur in your body require calcium.

If your body lacks calcium, your body may experience the following problems:

- Chin joints
- Brittle nails
- Elevated blood cholesterol
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Insomnia
- Muscle cramps
- Nervousness
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Tooth decay.
