Why should I take ZMA?

1111ZMA is a scientifically engineered anabolic formula composed of minerals.  ZMA also has zinc monomethionine aspartate, magnesium aspartate and vitamin B-6, where it’s name is also derived from.  Some studies have shown that it has a clinical effect on testosterone levels when it is used in a combination of 30mg zinc and 450mg magnesium per day.

One of the most famous studies conducted was by a woman that went by the name of Lorrie Brilla.  Lorrie while at at Western Washington University showed that this combination of ZMA, zinc, and magnesium, can potentially raise testosterone levels by as much as 30%

Bodybuilders are able to also reap the benefits of taking ZMA.  These benefits can potentially include:

- Increasing your body’s natural production levels of testosterone.  Doing this also boosts your capacity for building lean muscle.
- Increasing your levels of growth hormone.

-  Can also help you sleep if taken 30 minutes to an hour before bed.  This enhances rest and recovery.

ZMA is not known to have any side effects but it must be taken in proper dosage to the proportions found in most of these studiens.  These proportions happen to be 11MG of vitamin B-6, 450MG of magnesium and 30MG of zinc.  As always though, check with a doctor to make sure these are correct and to get permission before starting a supplement regimine.
